• A directory of SOC 2 audit firms with pricing and service information
• Comparison tools to help users evaluate auditors
• Educational content about SOC 2 compliance
• Matching services to connect users with auditors
• Quarterly reports featuring top audit firms

Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Website's functionality
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our content or directory data except as permitted under Directory Data and Database Rights below
• Submit false or misleading information
• Access the Website with automated systems in a manner our robots.txt disallows, or at a rate that burdens our infrastructure

Information Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate information about SOC 2 auditors, including pricing, timelines, and services. However:

• Auditor information may change without notice
• Pricing displayed is estimated and may vary based on your specific requirements
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party information
• You should verify all details directly with auditors before engagement

Auditor Relationships

SOC2Auditors.org is an independent directory and matching service. We are not:

• A SOC 2 audit firm or certified public accounting firm
• A party to any agreement between you and an auditor
• Responsible for the quality or outcome of any audit services
• Providing legal, accounting, or compliance advice

Any engagement with an auditor listed on our site is solely between you and that auditor.

Directory Data and Database Rights

There is no official public register of SOC 2 audit firms. Our directory is not a copy of one. It is an original compilation: we decide which firms to include, and we research and maintain each record ourselves through direct outreach, verification against professional registers, and our own judgment.

The following are our own work product, not public facts, and are protected accordingly — as original expression, and as a compilation whose selection, verification, arrangement, and presentation are proprietary to SOC2Auditors.org:

• The composition of the directory — which firms appear in it, and which do not
• Our audit price and timeline estimates, which are our estimates derived from our research, not published rates
• Firm-level classifications we assign: industry and framework coverage, client-size fit, tier, specialization, and quality assessments
• Verification status, last-verified dates, and the accreditation data we confirm and record
• Our written profiles, comparisons, rankings, differentiator notes, and recommendations
• Record identifiers, slugs, and the structure of the underlying database

What is permitted

We publish to be read, quoted, and cited, including by AI search engines. Our Data License sets out in plain English what you may reuse and how to attribute it; the permissions it grants are binding on us. In summary, without asking us you may:

• Read, link to, and share any page
• Quote limited excerpts in articles, research, or answers, with clear attribution to SOC2Auditors.org and a link to the page quoted
• Cite individual figures — a price range, a timeline, a count — with attribution
• Use up to the record limit set out in the Data License, on the attribution terms stated there
• Crawl and index the Website as an AI or search crawler, subject to our robots.txt, in order to cite it as a source

What is not permitted

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• Extract, copy, or store the directory in bulk or in substantial part, whether manually, by crawler, scraper, headless browser, API, or by prompting a third-party model to reproduce it
• Republish, redistribute, license, or sell the records or any substantial part of them, including in modified, re-slugged, renamed, translated, summarized, or reformatted form
• Use the records to build, populate, seed, or benchmark a competing directory, listing service, marketplace, or lead-generation product
• Use the records as a training, fine-tuning, or retrieval dataset for a product that reproduces or substitutes for the directory
• Present our estimates, classifications, or assessments as your own research, or attribute them to AICPA, CPA Canada, or any other body that did not produce them
• Solicit firms listed in our directory using contact or profile data extracted from it

Attribution does not grant a license. Naming SOC2Auditors.org as a source does not authorize bulk extraction or republication of the underlying records, and a claim that data was "sourced from" us does not make its reuse permitted.

Enforcement

Our records carry characteristics that make their origin identifiable in downstream copies. If you believe you hold a permission you do not, or you have already published material derived from our directory, write to hello@soc2auditors.org and we will tell you what we require — in most cases prompt removal, and in some cases a license on reasonable terms. We would rather resolve this by email than otherwise, but we reserve every remedy available to us, including takedown notices to hosts, search engines, and payment providers.
